Construction Project Manager at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions

About

I am a licensed Professional Engineer (Civil) with multiple years of experience working in the construction management field. I started my career working for General Contractors and held many different roles over several years including field engineer, estimator, pre-construction manager, superintendent, and project manager. My experience spans across multiple types of construction disciplines including commercial building, steel erection, bridge construction, concrete construction, earthwork, and mechanical/industrial work. During my time working as a contractor I was fortunate to be a part of some amazing projects while living in Chicago, Montreal, NYC, D.C. and other areas across North America. In 2016 I transitioned into the role of a project manager/owners rep working directly for a privately owned resort & convention center development team. Here I get the opportunity to guide projects all the way from an initial concept to completion while managing the design, finances, and construction of the project from the Owner/Operator side. I have also spent significant time getting involved in the day-to-day operations side of the business while providing assistance & general guidance to the facilities maintenance departments at each property within the company. I pride myself in getting to know people on a personal level and working with them closely to understand and achieve the project goals for all team members involved.
