Support the University of Wisconsin-Stout Housing department in achieving goal setting in different work teams Serve on five different departmental work teams: Diversity, Orgsync, First year experience, Sustainability, and Student Leadership. Establish the departmental usage of Orgsync for the University housing department. Plan and implement a student leadership retreat for the Residence Hall Association and National Residence Hall Honorary executive board members. Promote and support the department during Summer Orientation by communicating with parents and future students about residence life and coordinating the showroom for students to look at.
Support students in their personal growth and academic development by creating programs that tended to the needs of the floor community. Supervise a floor of 30 -45 first year students, by creating a community, maintain safety by enforcing police and implement administrative operations. Support hall government by serving as an advisor; help maintain a budget of $3000, creating social and education programs. Participate in hall and departmental assignments by serving on the diversity committee, working the front desk in the residence hall, and engage in the hiring process by interviewing hall director and the director of housing candidates.
Maintained safety and security with the buildings, by performing rounds around the residence halls, assess moments of crisis, and use the proper procedures such as documentation, and working with campus police. Gave tours and answered question for prospective and incoming first year students of a residence hall. Worked the front desk of residence halls for conference guests and summer term students ; provided basic house keeping for summer guests
