Danny Gavigan is an award-winning actor of stage, screen, and audio. The Television Internet and Video Association of DC awarded him the Peer Gold Award for Best Actor for his performance in the feature film UNARMED MAN. His work in the short film RUMINATION earned him the Special Jury Prize Platinum Award for Best Supporting Actor from the Independent Shorts Awards in LA and Best Supporting Actor at the Northern Virginia International Film and Music Festival. Danny was also awarded Best Actor at the Reel Independent Film Extravaganza in DC for his performance in the feature film LAST NIGHT. On stage, Danny originated the roles of Andrew Littlefield in the world premiere of Inda Craig-Galván’s A JUMPING OFF POINT at Round House Theatre in Maryland and Jimmy in the world premiere of Paul Downs Colaizzo’s REALLY REALLY at Signature Theatre in Virginia. He is the recipient of the Helen Hayes Award for his performance in WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF at Ford's Theatre. For over a decade, Danny was a member of the resident acting company at Everyman Theatre in Baltimore where he performed in over 20 productions and produced the true crime paranormal podcast EVERYMAN THEATRE’S RESIDENT GHOST COMPANY. Danny has performed in over 500 audiobooks for Graphic Audio and has narrated both fiction and non-fiction audiobooks for Podium Audio, Macmillan Audio, Graphic Audio, and Whole Story Studio.
