I am a senior technology leader with over 20 years experience building, scaling, and transforming engineering platforms and operational capabilities in large, regulated enterprises. Currently, I lead enterprise-wide adoption of Site Reliability Engineering at NatWest Group, alongside my role as a Distinguished Engineer, where I operate across strategy, operating models, and long-term capability building - not just technical design. My work focuses on enabling engineering organisations to deliver safely, reliably, and at pace, through platforms and practices spanning observability, SRE, operational resilience, AIOps, and developer enablement. I have led transformations that reduce toil, improve reliability, and materially increase engineering productivity. I am particularly experienced in complex environments where regulatory constraints, legacy estates, and modern engineering expectations collide - and where technology leadership must balance innovation, risk, and business outcomes.
