Now happily retired. Up to end 2022 leading the team responsible for Air Traffic Management (ATM) Implementation Monitoring Modernisation activities ("LSSIP", European ATM Master Plan Level 3, ICAO Monitoring, "RPAS U-Space" Services Monitoring). Specialised in Implementation Planning, Reporting and Monitoring in the field of ATM. Worked since 1996 at EUROCONTROL, the international Organisation supporting European Aviation. Graduated 1984 at the Belgian Royal Military Academy, worked 1985-1987 at the Belgian Air Force Air Defence Center in GLONS, 1987-1994 at Belgian Air Force Staff, 1994-1996 at ACCS Regional Project Office in EVERE.
Part of the newly created Division in the Network Manager Directorate, which is working in close cooperation with European Commission, SESAR Joint Undertaking, SESAR Deployment Manager, EASA and all ATM stakeholders to, amongst others, manage the European Planning, Reporting and Monitoring (Master Plan Level 3 & LSSIP).
The PRM (formally called PEPR, and before EIPR) unit, in the ACS Division of the DECMA Directorate of EUROCONTROL, is in charge of the European ATM Master Plan Level 3, LSSIP (Local Single Sky ImPlementation) and ICAO ASBU Monitoring activities . More is on www.eurocontrol.int/pepr.
