Bioinformatics Data Architect (Research) Precision Oncology Program and Precision Oncology Data Repository This project aims to sequence tumors of veterans diagnosed with cancer in order to improve standard of care and enhance trial enrollment. The research arm of this project is working towards publicly sharing of de-identified sequencing, clinical and imaging data with researchers. - Responsible for high level technical design - Guide the database and development team to implement requirements - Define product requirements in collaboration with the stakeholders - Create, plan and maintain an active schedule of all on-going activities - Present project progress to higher management Lead VA Data Task Force in support of the APOLLO project Data Working Group This group aims to provide informatics expertise to support data elements identification and standardization, lead data integration and analysis, and safeguard data transfer to standard data repositories, to ensure the success of the APOLLO project. Technical Lead Software and Data Engineering - Guide our team through the implementation of RTC in order to support a more efficient systems development life cycle. - Responsible for the design and technical implementation of the Diuretic Comparison Project, a research study aiming to enroll 30.000 veterans. - Participate in the definition of the Informatics common workflow engine design to aid study projects in need of informatics support. - Plan integration testing. - Manage the development of modular web services that interact with the workflow engine to facilitate an efficient data flow.
