  • Senior Vice President, Global Field Sales | Sales & Marketing Organization Rebuild | Exec Leadership at Replicon
    Mar 2014 - Nov 2015 · 1 yr 9 mos

Replicon is the leading provider of cloud-based time tracking software and its award-winning solutions are used by more than 1.5 million people in over 7,800 organizations across 70 countries. With over 400 employees around the globe, including in the United States, Canada, India, Australia and the United Kingdom, Replicon helps its customers to better manage workforce attendance, expenses, projects, professional services teams and shared services resources. As the Senior Vice President of Global Field Sales, I was essentially hired to dismantle the organization’s front end sales and marketing organizations – to break them down and then build them back up. I am passionate about reinvigorating businesses to grow them and create enduring value for clients, shareholders and employees. The rebuild of the sales and marketing organizations was carried out by creating the right business segmentation (SMB, Commercial and Enterprise) globally, whilst layering in a proper sales and forecasting playbook. Successfully establishing both Toronto and UK offices, I also rebuilt the APAC team, which was based out of their Sydney and Bangalore hub. The impact of these activities on Replicon’s bottom line was immediate – I took the company’s revenues from under $6M USD to more than $18M USD in just 18 months.

  • Area Vice President | Regional VP/AVP Role | Business Builder | Fast Growth & High Performance at Salesforce.com
    Nov 2007 - Mar 2014 · 6 yrs 5 mos

Salesforce.com is the worldwide leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) services. Their social and mobile cloud technologies – including the flagship sales and CRM applications – help companies connect with customers, partners, and employees in entirely new ways. Salesforce is the Customer Success Platform and more companies trust their vital customer and sales data to salesforce.com than any other on-demand CRM company in the world. Initially hired as a Strategic Account Executive in the Greater New York City office, I held several key roles during my seven years with the organization, including Regional Vice President for two years and Area Vice President for three years, as I progressed through the upper echelons of the organization. As a senior-level executive delivering consistent results across the board, I established the Vancouver office to help spark growth in Western Canada. I also established the Montreal Regis office to better support the needs of the burgeoning French Canadian market. In the role of Area Vice President, I was responsible for over 48 Commercial Account Executives across four distinct regions and the Vice Presidents of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. A high-energy leader and growth driver, my approach in the role was to drive a deep level of collaboration with the different business units, including sales, engineering, marketing, HR and product management, with the aim of ensuring that we exceeded our goals on a regular basis. As a sales leader with a proven track record of success when it comes to building and leading high performing teams – and someone who never missed his number as a result – I was sent to the Presidents Club every year until I left the organization in 2014.
