About

My name is Daniel Wong, and I am a Dean's Honor Roll Industrial Engineering student at Wichita State University graduating in December 2025. I am driven by a passion for analyzing and optimizing complex systems to improve efficiency and performance. As Industrial Engineering i experience real world hand on experience not just lecturing and do assigment . I currently apply these principles as a Student Assistant at NIAR in the Quality and Instrumentation departments and volunteer at the Kansas Aviation Museum for a 6 month where I analyze restoration processes to reduce time and improve workflows. My academic career has been focused on solving real-world operational puzzles for local companies. I led a senior design project for YingLing Subway, building a simulation model to analyze bottlenecks and reduce peak-hour wait times. I have also designed and proposed ideal, lean-focused workflows for Max Aerostructure and used SysML/UML to re-engineer the chargeback process for Great Plains Manufacturing. Having presented my work at the WSU Engineering Research Symposium, I am now eager to bring my proven skills in simulation, lean manufacturing, and systems analysis to a full-time Industrial Engineering role.

    - Quality Inspection each program bag making sure it didnt skip any step through the process. - Conduct surface preparation by using different type of sanding paper depends on the specimen material following Astm Standard. - Measure and precise dimension using Gage Block , Caliper , Micrometer , Ruler and 123 Block. - Bond the Gage and Specimen depends with types of adhesive depends on test condition. - Solder Gage with wire and do Quality Check from start to finish before sending out to testing lab.
