Empowering people by learning and transformation fuels what I do. For 10 years, I have delivered career services programs helping job seekers and assisting employers to find top talent. Focusing on labour market research, training and coaching, and job development in different industries. I have supported people in different career stages and demographics including students, Canadian newcomers and people living with disabilities. I am passionate about learning and development. Currently, I’m completing a certificate in Instructional Design, where I’m strengthening my skills in ADDIE, eLearning development, and learning technologies. I’m actively creating projects that translate my program facilitation experience into engaging learning solutions for different types of learners. I’m particularly interested in roles that sit at the intersection of learning, workforce development, and skills training. SCIO employment services supports individuals living with a spinal cord injury and other disabilities. Career Dynamics Network is an Employment Supports Service Provider in the Toronto region. Providing innovative and community-based job placement and retention services for persons with disabilities. Toronto Business College is a Loyalist College in Toronto partner Responsibilities: • Participated to launch the co-op program for the Toronto campus of Loyalist College for international students. • Provided program development and leading the job development team. • Prospected and managed the pipeline of employers for internships in technology, data science and supply chain management. • Vetted employers by conducting reference checks and site visits. • Advised students through individual counselling and group workshops. • Organized and managed bi-annual campus job fairs. • Achieved over 85% rate of internship placements in 2022 for 450 students. • Prospected and managed pipeline of over 400 employers in 2022.
BEMC (Bridge to Employment in Media and Communications), a 6-month bridging program designed to prepare internationally trained media and communications professionals to secure employment or entrepreneurship in the fields of Journalism, Communications & Public relations, Broadcast Media, Management of Entrepreneurial Media, Photography and Photojournalism, Videography, and Digital Design. Responsibilities: • Launched and facilitated the 6-month employment bridging program delivered in partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University. Two cohorts per year. • Prospecting and managing a pipeline of employers for work placements in journalism, communications, marketing, PR, digital media and design, film and TV. • Provided individual career coaching • Created course curriculum and content to teach the employment preparation course. Delivered the course in-person and online • Strategic program analysis and development and performance evaluation. • Assisting to facilitate the mentorship program in partnership with Seneca College. • Achieved over 90% rate for student work placements. • Over 65% of total clients have found media-related employment within 6 months of finishing the program.
