In 2019, I retired from the tech industry to spend more time with my family. I now live in Seattle with my wife and two sons, where I focus on family-run businesses. I updated my profile to reflect my former career, but am not pursuing a return to software at this time. I look forward to maintaining connections with former colleagues and collaborators.
Dan was responsible for managing the roadmap for the EcoSys application. This included gathering, scoring, and maintaining enhancement requests from internal and external parties. Lead efforts in support of the strategic vision for the application and associated delivery of pre-configured solutions. Led requirements definition and preliminary design efforts for new features. Interfaced with design, development, configuration, and testing teams.
Dan was responsible for the delivery of productized pre-configured solutions built on the EcoSys platform. This included the full lifecycle from requirements gathering through testing and deployment. Coordinated efforts for training and support of products. Dan also functioned as a Product Manager for the EcoSys application, collaborating on the development and delivery of the software roadmap.
Dan is responsible for efforts associated with the design of EPC configurations across the EcoSys client base. He develops design standards and works with implementation staff on the design of cost management solutions. Dan is currently tasked with the development of the next base configuration of the EPC tool, which will reflect best practices as well as lessons learned from his engagement history across a range of industries.
Dan was responsible for the implementation of both the EcoSys EPC and Primavera P6 tools. He was tasked with efforts ranging from the initial gathering of project requirements through user training and post-rollout support. In addition to his direct engagements, Dan was routinely called upon to offer expertise and guidance on additional EcoSys efforts. This allowed for greater exposure to additional industries.
Dan was a Senior Consultant for the implementation of the Primavera P6 Project Management suite. His participation covered the entire project lifecycle, from the gathering of requirements to the configuration of applications servers through the support of end users.
Dan was the lead Project Management tools specialist for the Department. He evaluated new versions of tools for value, performed regression testing, and planned and executed upgrade implementations. Dan developed and delivered custom training courses addressing schedule development and execution. He consulted with project managers on their project schedules to ensure timely delivery within budget.
