As an Adhesive Specialist in Austria -parallel to my role in Hungary- I supported the Automotive Sales Team with technical consulting and testing of customer parts.
As Technical Sales Representative at Henkel, I was responsible for customers from the Automotive Industry in Hungary. In this position I had to support our customers with technical consulting and negotiate prices for long term businesses.
Mainly I plan, execute and evaluate test series for industry bondings. I have constant contact with customers, advising them on choice of adhesive or the use of them. In this time I collected a wide spread of experience with test methods and static testing machines, climate test cycles, surface preparation and failure evaluation. Supporting the customer in every aspect of bonding meant that I acquired knowledge of many dispensing equipment and robots.
First season I helped out at the production; laminating composite parts, bonding, finishing and welded the steel space frame on other steel parts of the car. I designed the exhaust for the engine in the first two season. Second season I moved to the Composite Module, where after finishing the first monocoque of the Team I was announced as the leader of the Module. From then on, till the end of the third season I was managing, controlling and checking the design process and production of every composite part. This meant that I had to manage work force, material orders and shipment, mold production and preparation, laminating, demolding, finishing and bonding of parts. On simpler parts I designed the layups of the parts, wrote work sheets and optimized work flow for a faster and cleaner production.
