Maximising Pennine Care's use of digital communications and online marketing, working closely with the whole communications team to support services. A key aspect was to oversee 39 social media accounts and provide social media support to services, along with delivering the ‘Getting Social Media Savvy’ course at the Health and Wellbeing College. I also managed content on the Pennine Care website, writing news for the staff intranet and Pennine Post, and draft press releases to increase the Pennine Care's profile through positive media coverage. I also provide support for filming and editing videos and other multimedia projects - such as service promotion, case studies, highlights videos or recruitment promotions. A role I particularly enjoyed was being the communications contact for the staff health and wellbeing offer. This included creating and updating content on the intranet and distributing a monthly Wellbeing Wednesday email, which provides staff with ways to embed the 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' into their lives. These are evidence based actions which, done regularly, can help to improve a person's health and wellbeing.
Writing news and press releases for regional press and Pennine Care's website, on topics such as service launches, updates, events and patient case studies. Monitoring comments and content on over 20 service social media accounts, along with creating and scheduling content for the main corporate accounts and jobs accounts. This includes recent news, campaigns or events. I also deliver social media training to services who wish to set up their own accounts. Filming and editing video content for social media to support news or recruitment campaigns. I also provided photography support for internal or external news. Publishing frequent news updates and articles for over 5,500 staff on the intranet and collating them into the weekly 'Stay Connected' bulletin, which is distributed by email on Mondays. Furthermore, I write content for GP newsletters, service director updates and quarterly reports where required. In addition I updated the Pennine Care website, monitored press coverage and the communications email account for incoming news and queries.

During the 2015 general elections, I was employed by ITV Granada Reports to film the election count result for the Hyndburn constituency. This involved live tweeting updates throughout the evening, filming the result announcement, interviews with MP candidates and a range of cut aways and set up shots.
