As a Global Curriculum Developer, I support the outsourced call centers that make up our Global CS Operations in APAC, EMEA, and The Americas with their learning needs. Our Global CS L&D team provides leadership, customer service, and tools training that has a direct impact on our agents, our customers, and the business.
-Design and build extraordinary learning content for Customer service teams to support many delivery types—including classroom, trainer led and virtual classroom -Create and maintain style guide to ensure all learning materials are aligned -Write storyboards, produce media, and lessons that utilize technology to achieve learning objectives—including Powerpoints, videos, games, and more -Deliver new learning strategies that engage, inform, excite, and change the behavior of Customer Service agents -Work with Team Managers, QA and Trainers to update and improve new hire training -Work with global trainers and conduct train the trainer sessions for new content rollouts -Apply SquareTrade’s voice and style to produce training deliverables in the conversational and informative style -Work with people around the world and across SquareTrade — engineering leaders, marketing professionals, business partners, consumer insights teams, regional training, and more—to rapidly gather information, refine objectives, and produce training that’s relevant and of the highest quality Tools & Software: -JIRA -Basecamp -Articulate 360 -Salesforce -Docebo (LMS)
The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF) offers Imagineering, a beyond school enrichment program for SRVUSD students in grades K to 8. The goal of Imagineering is to spark student interest in choosing STEM classes in middle and high school with the ultimate goal of identifying more STEM majors who will ultimately become highly sought after talent in the US corporate workplace. The program consists of seven ( 7) themes, each of which is taught in a session of four (4) one-hour classes. As an Imagineering instructor, I design and teach courses for the following themes (depending on demand): - Netlogo Coding - Biotechnology - 3D Printing - Robotics - Animation - Chemical Reactions: Chemistry for Beginners - Bioinformatics: Getting Sorted
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students - Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health - Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities - Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests - Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, modeling, and independent work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate - Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods - Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate students' progress - Confer with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators in order to resolve students' behavioral and academic problems - Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs - Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of the 4th grade program - Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence
