Responsible for the Human Resource discipline within Brazil and all issues related to HR , both for staff and also for the crew members of the fleet.
Responsible for all HR into Brazil Operations (including start-up in Brazil), reporting to HR Vice-President in Olso-Norway and Operations Manager in Brazil. In charge of all practical issues related to Offshore Human Resources. In charge of Recruitment of all local personnel (achieved 80% of local content during first year of operations in Brazil) and establish recruitment strategy in order to achieve manning goals. In charge of payroll for Brazilian offshore personnel and insurance programs. Responsible for Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with Unions. Follow up intentions of the Company HR Policy and all related policies, procedures and instructions Propose and implement local procedures and controls for the handling of Brazilian personnel. Propose and implement compensation strategies and surveys. Propose annual Brazilian offshore personnel budgets for each Unit in close cooperation with the Operation Manager. Follow up the Brazilian offshore personnel cost against the budget and report quarterly to the Operation Manager and the HR Vice President Offshore in Oslo; Co-ordinate rotation schedules for Brazilian offshore personnel and personnel logistic team. Ensure the accomplishment of Brazilian offshore personnel’s individual qualifications and competence. Monitor new rules and regulations which may have consequences for the Company's policies with regard to offshore manning of the Units (i.e. local Brazilian requirements). Responsible for relevant new regulations that were implemented; Establish compensation surveys in order to define wages schedules and plans. Implement benefits programs, according to local market practice. Report day-to-day relevant “key activities” to the Operation Manager, and to the HR Vice President in Oslo. Keep track of VISA for all expatriate personnel.
Plan and manage full-cycle recruitment and placement programs for rig personnel; Lead the recruitment team; Responsible for human resources development projects; Source qualified candidates from all countries (locals and expats); Responsible for the High Potential Development Program (trainees) and Nationalization Recruitment Program; Define procedures for Recruitment and Selection (including psychological tests, competency-based assessment, graphology, technical assessment). Develop and implement KPI´s and reports and present on regular basis to management team; Map new recruitment sources in Brazil and Latin America; Develop and implement a diverse sourcing strategy to identify high-calibre candidates including the use of job boards, contacts, off-site recruiting fairs, and referrals from company career page. Define training requirement, strategies and procedures; Establish the best tools for training, performance assessment, career plan, climate surveys.
