Daniel practises in class actions, commercial, tort and the coronial jurisdiction. He is a contributing author (with David L Bailey) of Civil Procedure Victoria and is a nationally accredited mediator. Daniel is an Australian Advocacy Institute accredited advocacy coach and teaches advocacy in the Victorian Bar Readers' Course, the Legal Training Institute of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands Appellate Advocacy Course. Prior to joining the Bar, Daniel was the Class Actions Coordinator at the Supreme Court of Victoria and worked with the Honourable Justice Jack Forrest in the Kilmore Black Saturday Bushfire Class Action. He was previously Associate to the Honourable Justice Pagone (then Judge in Charge of the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria). Daniel read with Simon McGregor (now his Honour Coroner McGregor) and his senior mentor is Andrew Keogh SC (now the Honourable Justice Keogh).
