I am a commercially driven CFO and enterprise leader with more than 20 years of experience across finance, commercial, portfolio, and transformation roles in international telecommunications and digital infrastructure. In my current role, I steer finance and performance management for Deutsche Telekom’s Europe segment across nine countries. My background combines capital allocation, performance steering, and governance with hands-on experience in listed and regulated businesses, turnarounds, go-to-market redesign, and large-scale operating model change. Earlier in my career, I also led frontline commercial and sales organizations, which shaped how I work as a finance leader: close to the customer, pragmatic in execution, and focused on value creation. I have held executive board and chair roles in listed operators and have led ERP and AI-enabled finance transformation in complex international environments. I am particularly interested in discussions around group CFO leadership, board governance, digital infrastructure, and transformation at scale.
Lead finance, performance management, and portfolio development for Deutsche Telekom’s Europe segment across 9 countries (€12bn revenue / €4bn EBITDA / €2bn capex), with functional leadership across country CFOs and finance teams. Shifted the portfolio toward a stronger top-line growth model while maintaining financial discipline, supporting 32 consecutive quarters of EBITDA growth and a 32% increase in equity value over three years. Steer capital allocation, risk management, and portfolio actions across the footprint, including fiber and 5G investment prioritization, the Telekom Romania Mobile divestiture, AI/ML-enabled planning, and finance capability building.
