I have expanded this role to have various responsibilities - Tender Management, Global Process Development, Mentoring and Training. Strategic Services Tender Manager responsiblities: • Leading the delivery of high quality winning tender submissions for complex opportunities, including the coordination of the internal and external bid gate process • Overall responsible for the timely preparation and submission of technically sound, compliant and commercially viable proposals which are responsive to tender requirements and in accordance with Baker Hughes objectives • Development of commercial models incorporating cost, risk and price, as well as the submitted Project Execution Plan for the Services strategy • Lead contract negotiations and obtain the best possible terms and conditions to maximises our returns • Focal point for communications and coordination with all the main stakeholders, internal and external • Smooth and successful handover to the execution team • Providing training and mentoring to the global commercial resource, developing their tendering capability • Within the tenders, I am particularly interested on finding additional growth upsides and opportunities to expand the scopes and generate additional revenue for Baker Hughes Input to Global Process and Product Management Improvement: • Construct and implement a new global Services commercial process • Created globally flexible commercial models • Lead training sessions for all global Services Commercial hubs • Driving the global regions to convert upside opportunities
Lead Engineer for the process pipeline valve integrity and overhaul contract with Repsol Sinopec. Role Responsibilities: • Contract Focal Point Engineer situated within the Repsol Sinopec office • Measure and report contract Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) • Lead meetings and quarterly performance presentations to all contracted assets • Develop new opportunities for all EnerMech business lines • Financial responsibility for delivering the contract profitably • Compilation of work packages and procedures for various work scopes • Ensure all activities are carried out safely, in accordance with HSEQ policies and procedures Major Achievements: Successfully lead a team of Valve Engineers, Technicians and Sales Engineers working in a high volume, fast turn-around environment. Using initiative to develop and implement new procedures and processes to ensure individual projects were financially viable and documented correctly. The contract is expanding and achieving KPI targets.
MHWirth are a diverged sector of Aker Solutions who design and supply offshore drilling equipment and systems. Responsible for providing effective, profitable execution of project delivery activity, including installation and commissioning, new build and upgrade of drilling equipment and systems. Role Responsibilities: • Liaison with clients, supply chain and subcontractors to develop projects and business relations • Preparation of tenders and project plans • Financial responsibility and reporting of allocated projects • Compilation of work packages and procedures for various work scopes • High level of structural design input • Creation of project documentation and certification packages • Ensure all activities are carried out safely, in accordance with HSEQ policies and procedures Major Projects: Project Manager and On-Site Team Lead for multi-million pound quayside recertification scopes (assigned to Belfast and Singapore shipyards for 3 months each) Scopes include: Drill package and subsea equipment overhaul/upgrade, new equipment supply, installation & commissioning. Client point of contact throughout project - Weekly client planning & progress meetings; Project plan and budget control including submission of variations where required; Input to design of support structures and couplings; Preparation of site scope workpacks and procedures. Site Lead for up to 15 Service Engineers from 5 countries and assigned 3rd parties - Ensuring work is carried out safely as per procedures; Producing daily and weekly reports to client; Faultfinding and expediting. Other projects include: Multiple offshore mobilisations for equipment fault finding and maintenance; Use of CAD for product design modifications and delivery; Creation and approval review of fabrication and assembly work procedures and Inspection and Test Plans; General project management of drilling equipment build and refurbishment scopes, as well as office based Project Management and Technical Support.
Responsible for providing a technical and managerial support function on all aspects of cranes, lifting and support service activities. Assist with business development by preparing engineering and project quotations and presenting to the client. Managing allocated projects from initial feasibility concept through to delivery and closeout. Main Role Responsibilities: In line with MHWirth, above. Major Projects: BP Greater Plutonio; FPSO Heat Exchanger Replacement Deputy PM, project plan control, Factory Acceptance Testing, preparation of technical workpacks, direct communication with client and colleagues throughout the project design, fabrication and implementation. Transocean Galaxy I; Deck Crane Modifications and 5 Yearly Maintenance Management of subcontractor hydraulic power unit upgrades to prevent cavitation and overheating issues in the crane. This included relocation of oil tank and pumps, modification of hose feeder and return lines. Other Projects have a wide variety such as heavy lift, crane pedestal installations, refurbishments and lifting component design and manufacture, as well as offshore site surveys.
