I work at the intersection of brand consulting and business development, helping organisations across the Middle East turn complex business challenges into clear, commercially effective brands. At Skyne, I support clients across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman with business growth and long-term brand development. A big part of my role is commercial: identifying new business opportunities, meeting with prospective clients, understanding their challenges, shaping the right approach and helping turn conversations into strategic projects. Much of this work takes place in competitive, fast-moving environments where clear thinking and strong direction are critical to building brands that can perform, grow and scale. Originally from the Netherlands and now based in Dubai, I focus on aligning strategy, positioning and execution, not as separate disciplines, but as one system that drives growth. With over ten years of experience across retail and B2B, I bring together brand consulting, client advisory and business development. I am at my best when helping clients clarify what they need, understand what is possible and move towards the right strategic decision. I believe the strongest commercial relationships are built on trust, relevance and direct conversations. That is also where my Dutch background comes in: clear thinking, honest dialogue and a practical focus on progress.

I also work closely with Skyne’s strategy, creative and marketing teams to translate client needs into clear proposals, relevant solutions and strong project opportunities. I wrote a strategic positioning plan for Artu Napoli to help the brand grow. Artu Napoli is a high-end luxury fashion brand (men & womenswear) based in the Netherlands, with branches in the Netherlands and Belgium. Artu Napoli is also sold in over 100 multi-brand stores across Benelux. Most of the clothing is produced in Italy, which complies with high-end and durable quality. The strategic plan was based on relevant trends & developments on local & global levels, challenges & opportunities for the brand, competitor research, market research, brand strategy, brand story, field research; interviews, surveys, observations & mystery shopping to figure out the needs and desires of their target audience. From there on, I could write relevant and to-the-point conclusions and recommendations for Artu Napoli. I succeeded, resulting in my Bachelor of Science and a future-proof (2-5 years) plan for Artu Napoli.
