I´m in IT many years now. In the past I have build my career from a field engineer to a team leader. In between, I fulfilled a number of roles: From dispatcher for field engineers to problem manager, a trustworthy support engineer Base-24 to a project manager. For 2 years I was the security officer for the tandem platform and gain a lot of knowledge within the audits from IBM. The last years I was the team lead for the Tandem team and then I became a team lead for the systems management team. Here we implemented the GDF a set of delivery practices based on the Lean principles. I want to create a good environment in my team where everyone can work as a professional. I’m always investigating to improve the service or processes and search for solutions. I like open and honest communication and want to give and receive feedback. I love to see opportunities in problems and solve these problems.
In the past year, I developed a management report and understanding of the IBM software we run and the licenses we own for a big client. During these months we had a steep learning curve in our management, about the complexity of the licensing world
Next to the other roles, I am the developer and requirement engineer for the Performance Analytics dashboards of one of our clients.
Next to my job as a Software License Manager, i am also responsible for the development of reports in the ITIL process. In this role my responsibility is get clarity about the report requirements and translate these to a technical level. Keep track of the requirements development and get them tested and approved by the customer.
I am responsible for Software License Management within the ABN/Amro account with main focus on the software maintained by IBM. In this job I will optimize SwLM tooling, procedures and processes to ensure a healthy level of compliance in the current and future state. I report on request of the customer on the state of various licenses and installed base on the servers as well as the end-user computers. On a monthly base, I report the metering for end-user applications to our client Due to the fast amount of data what the tools are collecting, I can use my analytic mind to the max. It is good to dive into opportunities to save licenses and therefore money. Sometimes millions of euro's
My role here is the team lead of SMI ´Systems Management Infrastructure´ projects and for a time the role as running the business as well. This team is operating in the Netherlands and in Belgium. Together with two colleagues i implemented GDF, GDF is a set of delivery practices based on the Lean principles that enables consistent global delivery excellence, in the SMI team.. This team counts 39 employes we keep the day to day business running and using the ITIL philosophy. Next to this we are implementing and running projects from customers as well as internal the IBM projects. My main role here is to keep the balance between keep the business running and deliver projects in time. Further more I deliver, in cooperation with the team, the yearly road-map and incorporate this in the yearly team plan. Keep track on the planning of resources and report to the management on issues. the main role is to implement new standards of the company but also keep the interest of our client in scope.
My role is to lead the SelfserviceDevices team as well as the system management team in the SSO AbnAmro environment. My role here was to keep the business running using the ITIL philosophy. Make sure we have enough resources and report in time to the firstline manager this will be an issue. I have the responsibility for the Lifecycle management of our hard and software. Plan the resources and deliver these projects on time. But also plan the projects of the customer and deliver the right resources. Beside that i am the lead compliance and security officer for both selfservice as systems management. I also successfully implemented the security standards in the systems management team.

Beside my role as teamleader, I have focused my work on security. The team had no knowledge of the standard IBM security rules. I successfully implemented all processes and are fully compliant with the IBM security rules in this team. I was asked to help with one of the first security audits on the AbnAmro account.
Lead several projects with in the SO AbnAmro account my focus was to make a realistic planning, request the right resources and keep the project to the planning and in budged. Keep the client up to date on the planning and budged in a weekly meeting. The biggest project was the EMV bankcards Project. In scope was the transition of the main ATM platform from strip on the bankcard to EMV chip on the bankcard. But also change the back-end systems. My team had to change, test and implement the new soft and hardware. An other project was to implement SAVR simantec anti virus reporter: The scope of this project was implement the new hardware, script the software and implement the new software on the test systems. TNS increment 5A was an other project. This projects scope was to implement new hardware for urgent payments. Use a new operating system with a new web sphere.
In this job i have implement problem management, release management and requirement management in this team following the ITIL Philosophy. Beside this i helped the 6 helpdesk engineers with the trans-fare to a new company.
