Commercially driven Civil Engineer and entrepreneur with over 20 years of UAE experience across construction, structural steel manufacturing and FMCG. For the past nine years, I have simultaneously run two ventures: co-founding and scaling Organic Press, a certified cold-pressed juice brand, from start-up to an established business — and serving as Projects/Operations Manager at Johnsonco Ltd, a structural steel construction and manufacturing group, where I've managed a design-build project portfolio worth approximately US$60M for commercial, industrial and petrochemical clients. This dual track record has given me a rare combination: full P&L ownership, vendor and client negotiation, and brand-building experience from the entrepreneurial side, paired with hands-on technical delivery credibility from the construction side. - Coordination and managing sub-contractors to achieve the targeted activities of the project - Short term Planning & Scheduling activities to ensure project is within time constraint and budget. - Coordination and installation of Jump Form Systems - Supervision in the material procurement and detailing of deformed bars & structural steel - Budgeting, cost controlling and estimation of projects to ensure project cost is within/under budget. - Liaising with QA/QC department to ensure proper implementation of quality standards are achieved as per code and building regulations. - Responsible for all day to day site activities. - Ensuring maximum safety procedures are adhered too. - Responsible for all local authority approvals for construction. - Coordination, management and leadership of all site supervisors.
- Managed and executed the required resources (i.e. materials, manpower and equipment) for various housing projects. - Led and coordinated subcontractors and sub trades to achieve planned activities. - Prepared and completed material submittal logs, look ahead programs and monthly progress reports. - Estimated and quantified measurements as per the drawings/BOQ and compared to actual site ‘As Built’ measurements. - Detailed examination of all shop drawings for approval by subcontractors/sub trades.
