I am a highly driven and enthusiastic professional with extensive experience in programme, project, change, and stakeholder management within complex and commercial environments. Currently, I serve as a Change Manager at Tesco, where I lead multiple change projects introducing new technologies across six countries, impacting large numbers people. My role involves driving awareness and use of change management frameworks, developing Champions networks, and creating marketing materials to showcase the value of Change & Adoption Management. Previously, I worked at AstraZeneca as a Business Change & Adoption Lead, where I developed and led change activities to support the adoption of new financial systems across global manufacturing sites. My experience also includes significant roles at Network Rail, where I managed large-scale technology deployments and business change projects, ensuring successful outcomes within challenging timescales. I hold a Law LLB degree from City University, London, and am a certified Change Management Practitioner and Project Management Professional. My professional memberships include the Association of Project Management and the Change Management Institute. Outside of work, I am passionate about cycling and fitness. I also volunteer as a first aider at my son’s rugby club as well as a local Parish Councillor where I use my skills to support community initiatives.
Starting in Workplace Technology, I was responsible for change and adoption of workplace tools (Microsoft M365, meeting rooms, Windows, etc.) delivered to colleagues across Tesco. Drove increased awareness of Change & Adoption across to improve overall maturity. Introduced a simplified change and adoption approach for the team to support the introduction and changes to Workplace products. Reinvigorated and grew a Champions Network to provide business insight and support the Change process. From December 2023, I moved to the group Technology change team looking at Change & Adoption activities impacting the function.
Working as part of Manufacturing Accounting Programme in Finance Transformation to support adoption of new financial reporting tools and ways of working across global manufacturing sites. I was responsible for devising an adoption strategy, BI dashboard monitoring and reporting for adoption, as well as creating a key message framework underpinned by an updated strategy. Working with global stakeholders to review as-is processes to understand requirements gap in system design. This supported re-defining the target operating model and to support future ways of working.
As part of the Future Capability team within Network Rail Training, I am lead on training projects within the North West & Central Region. I also led on the business change requirements and strategy for the Digital Twin programme for delivery new methods for training delivery.
Managing a team delivering business change and new technologies, including Traffic Management and Incident Management, in to the operational railway. Focus on maximising benefits through effective training, operating model development and end user engagement, delivering within challenging timescales.
Developing a number of business change projects, initially starting on process improvement for Route delay investigation. Focus was then moved on to the Traffic Management deployment as part of the Thameslink Programme, where I was am responsible for leading the South East Route business change. Working with the Thameslink Programme I ensure the system meets the end user requirements, and that any new or emerging requirements are captured and incorporated. I am developing the operating model in conjunction with Route and train operator stakeholders for the new system. Undertaken a robust training development process incorporating lessons learnt from other technology deployments within business to mitigate risk and ensure future users are competent. Created and delivered a stakeholder communication and engagement plan for the project which spans across all levels of the industry.
Role involved supporting Relationship Directors in developing and maintaining relationships within a portfolio of Larger Business clients in the Business Services sector through compiling high-quality credit analysis and credit applications in compliance with the lending policies.
