My responsibilities there included enhancing youth structures and youth participation in decision making processes, and writing and editing content for web, blogs, and social media, increasing recruitment, strengthening organizational development and sharing of best practices At the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH), I was responsible for external and internal communication on global health. This included strategic counseling to senior staff, managing and producing web content, writing press releases, creating, developing and implementing communication strategies, handling media inquiries, organizing seminars / public events as well as photo / video shooting and editing. In the spring of 2015, I worked as a communication specialist for the WHO during the Ebola outbreak response in Liberia. I have previously worked over 5 years as a journalist with Norway's largest local newspaper. In addition, I have extensive international work experience from 6 countries, and I speak and write 4 languages fluently (Norwegian/English/German/Spanish).
