Film director and producer. His work focuses on human stories, exploring the contradictions of the world around us through a naturalistic and emotional lens. His debut feature film, North to Paradise, premieres in 2026. Born in Barcelona in 1987, Dani Sancho graduated in Cinematography from ESCAC (Catalonia Film School) and later moved to Los Angeles, where he directed music videos and documentary projects. After returning to Barcelona, he developed a multidisciplinary career across documentary, television and commercial work, using each format to refine his visual language and storytelling approach. In advertising, he has directed and produced campaigns for leading national and international brands including AXA, Levi’s, Lidl, San Pellegrino, Tesla, Amazon, Danone, Grohe, Ambar and Moritz, and received a Laus Award for a Playz campaign. In television, he directed the documentary Això no va de futbol (TV3) and worked as line producer on the late-night show Zona Franca. As a producer, he has developed documentary and audio projects for platforms such as TVE, TV3, Spotify, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. He is currently completing his debut feature film, North to Paradise (Viaje al País de los Blancos), produced by Mundo Cero, Arcadia Motion Pictures, Atresmedia Cine and Noodles Productions, with the participation of Movistar Plus+ and Netflix. The film will be released theatrically in June 2026 and premiered at the Málaga Film Festival.
Director of the feature film North to Paradise (Viaje al País de los Blancos), a coming-of-age drama inspired by the true story of Ousman Umar, following his journey from Ghana to Europe.
