I am constantly eager to try new things and diversify my skills since I began my engineering degree.
At Jet Aviation, I design structural modifications for antenna installations and cabin interiors, which include installation of hardware and avionics equipment for a broad range of customers. For each design task, I am responsible for the detailed design process, which includes: - Preparing engineering orders to provide clear instructions to installers - Preparing manufacturing and installation drawings developed in AutoCAD and Solidworks - Preparing validation reports demonstrating compliance for FAR Part 23 and CASR Part 90 - Conducting structural analysis using analytical methods to ensure designs maintain positive margins of safety under various load cases - Coordinating with technicians and suppliers to ensure designs consider ease-of-manufacture, pricing and availability - Preparing supporting documentation for the installation and maintenance of the design, including AFMS, ICA, Maintenance Manual, IPC and manufacturing guide-sheets.
At Akin, I designed mechanical robotic frames, selecting appropriate electro-mechanical components and assembling assistive robots as part of the 'AI Crew' to work alongside engineers in the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab. In addition, I fulfil roles within Akin's commercialisation activities, including: - Developing an initial digital marketing strategy on online platforms including Google and Facebook (Meta), which features audience segmentation and targeting, building a SEO-optimised website, creation of media and content for ads as well as analytics and reporting. - Designing support ticket infrastructure to handle customer enquiries including semi-automated responses, automatic categorisation of tickets and internal tracked metrics for employee performance.
The Founders Program is part of UNSW's Division of Enterprise, focused on developing the culture of entrepreneurship for staff, students and alumni. Here, I have two main roles: 1. Supervise the MCIC Makerspace in providing technical expertise to users of the space and run technical workshops on Arduino, Computer Aided Design and Digital Fabrication. 2. Coordinate with UNSW Clubs and Societies on hosting collaborative activities and events in building the maker community at the MCIC
UNSW Engineering hosts several public makerspaces across the Kensington campus, providing students and staff with access to several hand and power tools for their projects. As a Makerspace Ambassador, I supervise and assist users of the space and ensure safety standards are met including the conducting of safety inductions.
As a demonstrator, I guide students through a series of mechanics problems in weekly tutorials and assisted them with questions or assessments through a forum onboard Microsoft Teams. Courses Demonstrated: - MMAN1300 / ENGG1300 Engineering Mechanics 1 - Semester 1 2018, Semester 2 2018, Summer 2018 and Term 3 2019 - ENGG2400 Mechanics of Solids - Term 1 2019, Term 3 2019 - MMAN2300 Engineering Mechanics 2 - Term 2 2019 - AERO3410 Aerospace Structures - Term 1 2020
