The College is governed by a Board of Directors that oversees the $25 million annual budget. In this role I also undertake the role of the Company Secretary and oversee the areas of finance, facilities, IT, risk and compliance, and administration. 🏆 Key achievements: - Led and developed the Salesian College Chadstone 10 Year Financial Plan, incorporating Strategic Plan initiatives and key stages of the College Master Plan. CEM was transformed from an organisation with $110m turnover and 500 staff to MACS which has $2.1b turnover and 14,000 staff. 🏆 Key achievements: - Led and developed the financial aspects of the Catholic Education Melbourne ($110 million turnover) governance transformation to MACS ($2.1 billion turnover) including the transfer of 290 schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. - Financial management of Catholic Education Commission of Victoria (CECV) with an annual turnover of $3.1 billion, including a $57 million technology implementation and operational budget. - Led the development and consolidation of the inaugural 2022 MACS group budget totaling $2.1 billion, comprising 290 schools utilising multiple financial systems (Technology One, Greentree, Synergetic and SAS). - Led the review, development and implementation of the new Long Service Leave Investment Policy and Strategy. Implemented the transition of $170 million in a bespoke managed fund to increase long term returns from 0.2% to 4.9%.
