About

I’m Daniel Nesci, a composer, mastering engineer and audio software co-founder working across music, media and creative technology. Music has always sat at the centre of what I do, whether I’m writing for picture, producing records, shaping sounds, building tools for other creatives, or helping bring a project’s identity into focus. My work spans film, television, games, advertising, trailers and production music, with music heard across broadcasters, brands and entertainment platforms, international television programming and global music catalogues. I’m especially drawn to music that feels purposeful; that supports story, tension, movement, atmosphere and emotion. Across my work, that has taken the form of cinematic orchestral writing, hybrid trailer music, dark electronic production, rock and metal, ambient textures, underscore, commercial music and game composition. I also co-founded FlickSwitch Audio, an independent audio software company with an international team creating boutique and unique tools for music producers, composers, engineers and sound designers. That side of my work is driven by the same thing as my music: building creative tools and ideas that help people make better, more inspiring work. Alongside the music and audio world, I’ve built a strong background in digital campaigns, fundraising and marketing technology through the not-for-profit sector. That experience has shaped the way I think about audiences, communication, data, systems and growth, skills that now feed directly into both my creative work and the way I help push projects, products and campaigns.

I helped drive the growth of the organisation’s digital fundraising program, contributing to it becoming a million-dollar digital program for the first time. My role spanned digital campaign strategy, donor journey development, paid media, CRM and automation, reporting, and cross-functional campaign delivery. I worked across acquisition, retention, regular giving, appeals, and supporter engagement, helping elevate the digital donor experience whilst improving campaign performance across multiple fundraising programs. A major focus of my work was building better systems. I introduced and improved internal processes, automated manual workflows, connected platforms and gave teams clearer visibility over campaign performance.
