Assist in research activities at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute's Lepage Lab. Research focuses on schizophrenia--specifically its cognitive symptoms--using clinical interventions and modern neuroimagery techniques.
Suiter: Link between the dining room and the kitchen. Manage the pass: follow up on the status of orders; make sure dishes go to the right seat at the right table in a timely manner and with consistent quality. / Busboy: Attend to client's needs and requests in a timely and customer service oriented manner. Bus dishes in a non disrupted and as-discrete-as-possible manner. Ensure little things like glasses are full and no cutlery is missing. Work as part of a team (i.e. communicate effectively, help other team members in times of need, etc) to provide an exceptional service for clients. Bus food to tables, prepare bread baskets, coffees, deserts, take payments, wash dishes. Ensure proper hygiene in restrooms and in the dining room.
Assist orderlies in hygiene tasks: bathing residents, changing diappers; attend to the needs, desires and requests of residents; give company to residents; enforce hygenic and virus containment protocols (staff donning and doffing stations, educate staff about proper protocol, help staff properly implement personal protective protocol).
Help the lab with a variety of tasks necessary for experiments undertaken: data-entry, review of potential participant applications, coding of video data, transcription of pre-recorded videos, etc.
