Cybersecurity Engineer with a Bachelor in Cybersecurity at Tiffin University-EEUU (GPA 4.0), in May of 2024 with Excellence in the field of Cybersecurity Award, after transferring from Missouri Valley College, where I studied Computer Science. I have obtained multiple certifications, such as CompTIA Security +, Forescout Accredited Engineer, SenhaSegura Technical Certification, Python and SOC Level 1, that showcase my proficiency and eagerness to learn in this field. I was also a student-athlete, which reflect my teamwork and leadership abilities, as well as passion and dedication. As well as being a student, I was a member of the Men’s Tennis team at Tiffin University while I was doing my Bachelors. Due to being an international student-athlete, I have been fortunate enough to witness many diverse cultures and groups of people in a variety of social settings. Two of the skills I take most pride in are time management, and problem-solving. Throughout my education and tennis, I have been pressured to plan and achieve goals which has motivated my productivity and organization, and consequently allowed me to succeed.
• Implementation/migration of CyberArk Cloud, meeting all customer requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
● NAC implementation with the Forescout tool providing 100% discovery and visibility of all wired devices connected to the internal network in 2 offices and 10 buildings, with a total of 7.000 devices. With this implementation, the network was also segmented by creating groups/zones, and at the same time, policies were implemented to restrict external connection and identify corporate devices in order to reduce the attack surface and expansion. Additionally, integration of different tools such as CyberArk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Check Point, etc. with Forescout, automating actions and flows using communication modules. ● Leading the implementation of PAM with the Segura (former SenhaSegura) tool to manage privileged access and machines identities with automation, monitoring, and compliance features eliminating privilege abuse risks and prevent data breaches. By implementing this tool, it also helped to meet laws requirements like GDPR, ISO 27001, and more. ● Support in the implementation and troubleshooting of the One Identity Safeguard PAM tool, helping the customer to meet all their objectives and desired scope. ● Creation of documentation, reflecting all the tasks performed and how they were performed, in addition to complying with the company's internal policies.
● Assisted IT department with PC problems across campus. Received calls from classes and offices to troubleshoot problems. There were about 50 incidents per month with computers, printers, etc., most of which we were able to solve ourselves as they were simple problems but a few others we had to contact third parties to come and fix them. The affected users were given a solution by offering the same desired services in other locations.
● Carried out research on improvements to be applied to the company’s cybersecurity and AI capabilities, resulting in significant enhancements. Prospected multiple potential partners, prepared detailed proposals, and presented them to management. The leadership team evaluated the findings and then the best improvements found were implemented. ● Labeled data using Label Studio to be used in the AI training ● Trained predefined image recognition models with TensorFlow and evaluated their accuracy, improving the AI accuracy to +85% and getting better training models for future projects. ● Evaluate a new cybersecurity partnership with the company, assessing what benefits it would bring to the security implemented at that time. This report was presented to the management team to discuss what they were offering us and whether we were interested in the services they were providing.
● Tennis Coach for young and adult high-level players. ● Made sure the equipment needed was in good condition every week. (Summer/Christmas Job)
