I love solving hard business problems. I like to say, "There are an infinite number of cool, hard research problems out there; we might as well work on the ones that will make us money and/or help people out!" I love to get my hands dirty and write scalable, robust, tested code. This is usually (but not always!) time series related and in a probabilistic programming language (waves to Stan). I have grown teams, led teams, and been on teams :-), but usually find myself in the latter unless the team doesn't exist and we need to build it.
Currently building Physical AI as applied to Satellite systems: both fully autonomous, deployed space assets, as well as their ground system counterparts.
