An innate interest in numbers and community led me to pursue a degree in education. I found my niche teaching math with my ability to conceptualize numbers. After my son was born in 2016 I committed to his early childhood development. This break from the traditional workforce allowed me to reconsider my career and focus on a new opportunity and interest, data analysis. The extensive Data Analysis Boot Camp through Oregon University cemented the fact that this is the career for me. Coding and sifting through data is an exciting and challenging puzzle. I am drawn to uncovering the stories that data can tell us. I am eager to apply and enhance my skills. Taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Statistics and Financial Literacy to junior and seniors who were at least a semester behind in credits. Oversaw the math department, collaborated with teachers and parents, built a customized curriculum to fit the students needs, and taught to a diverse population
