About

I am a food science graduate from Taylor's University (CGPA 3.79) with six months of real R&D experience at MAMEE-Double Decker, one of Malaysia's most recognised FMCG manufacturers. During my internship, I ran daily shelf-life evaluations of noodle and snack products, conducted triangle sensory tests with panels of up to 40 people, performed texture analysis, tested packaging integrity across 100 to 200 samples, and was on the factory floor during product development trials. I also contributed to SOP improvements and prepared product samples for marketing tasting sessions to support internal product decisions. My final-year project audited 300+ dairy products against the Malaysia Food Regulations 1985, which helped me build a strong foundation in food regulatory knowledge and technical documentation. I also worked with a team to develop a Fusion Brew Gelato that achieved 42% overrun and cut production costs by 15%. I am currently looking for junior R&D or product development roles in the food industry in Malaysia. I am from Sibu, Sarawak, and ready to relocate upon receiving an offer.
