Provides technical expertise to the respective Assistant Naval Engineer in the areas of shipboard electrical power generation/distribution systems, lighting and distribution, instrumentation, interior communications, degaussing, aircraft electrical servicing equipment, and propulsion plant electrical systems and components on COMNAVAIRLANT CVNs. Serve as technical assistant for the Ship’s Force Mechanical Vibrational Analysis (SFMVA) Contract. Reviews data submitted by COMNAVAIRLANT ships and reports submitted by the SFMVA contractor. Provides repair recommendations to Ship’s Force, Maintenance Program Managers and Maintenance Coordinators.
