About

I have been working as a manager for the past 16 years of which I have specialised in procurement, project support, and recruitment whilst following strict workplace health and safety policies and procedures. I am currently pursuing a career within the APS Federal Government workspace to supplement my current skill set. My career has been primarily focused around leadership & management as I have acquired a vast set of skills from managing workflow, procurement priorities and project deadlines with staff alongside preparing training and other additional duties relating to COVID-19 activities. Additionally I have experience with troubleshooting technical issues to provide support to colleagues regarding staff engagement and feedback. In response to the job description, I believe I could be a great addition to the team and would thoroughly enjoy the role. Striving to stand out in due time whilst aiming to be the go to person is my main focus of learning every aspect within my role with diligence, along with forming lasting workplace networking relationships within the department. Thus far my work history has provided me with valuable complaint handling and team leadership skills of which I believe can also apply broadly to a range of roles, given the opportunity to progress to that stage with my application. I will undergo any training required to be considered for this role whilst noting I have a Baseline Clearance of which was granted in January 2023 and I am willing to upgrade to NV1 or higher if necessary to be considered for this position. I am currently studying Diploma in Project Management outside of business hours as I wish to pursue a career within the ICT sector.
