As a Board Member of Bigger Than Sports, I support the strategic growth and long-term sustainability of the organization’s mission to empower athletes beyond their sport. I collaborate with fellow board members to guide organizational strategy, strengthen partnerships, support fundraising initiatives, and expand community impact. My focus centers on athlete identity development, mental wellness, and leadership growth—ensuring athletes are equipped with the tools, confidence, and clarity to transition successfully into life beyond competition. I also serve as an ambassador for the organization, helping cultivate relationships with schools, community leaders, and aligned corporate partners. Through governance, strategic insight, and mission alignment, I contribute to advancing programming that reinforces a core belief: athletes are bigger than the game they play.
Selected to serve as a mentor, I meet monthly with two students to support their leadership development and long-term goal clarity. Sessions focus on strengthening self-awareness, refining academic and career direction, and building disciplined habits that translate into sustained success. I approach mentorship as both accountability and empowerment—equipping students with the tools to think independently, lead confidently, and act with intention.
