I am an evolutionary biologist by training with ~10 years of experience in experimental biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, and comparative genomics. I have led international research teams, secured competitive research funding, taught bioinformatics and computational biology, and published in leading scientific journals such as Nature and Science. My ability to combine rigorous experimental design, manage interdisciplinary scientific collaborations, and implement cutting-edge genomic and computational approaches well-position me to deliver impactful research and educational outcomes. I received my Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology from The University of Chicago in 2017. I am currently a Gerstner Postdoctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology at the American Museum of Natural History. I was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology (2017-2019) and a postdoctoral research scientist at Columbia University (2019-2022).
