Mechanical and communications engineer with 4+ years of design and project management experience working on public-facing systems throughout New York City. · Managed contracts over $750,000 in value, working directly with clients to ensure that equipment was delivered on schedule and installed to their req uirements. · Designed and programmed 15 public address, telephone, and CCTV systems for New York City subways and airports, including technical calculations to ensure high performance. · Created and maintained shop drawings in AutoCAD, as well as worked directly with fabrication and installation teams, to ensure all equipment was built and installed to client specifications. · Priced and negotiated change orders and RFQs, including investigating and reporting potential design changes to ensure they would not impact project schedule. · Trained clients and end users on equipment, assisting with field installation, testing, and wiring.
· Researched New York City seismic code and coordinated with subcontractors for installation of conduit hangars in vibration-prone subway areas. · Estimated job costs, including takeoffs and vendor quotations, and created reports for bid team.
