Responsible for managing entire lifecycle of multiple projects through a phased approach, identifying and delivering highest value project solutions through competitive project definition and execution for projects ranging in value between $500K to $6M. Develop scopes of work and integrated execution plans, sources and qualifies vendors/contractors, monitors and controls project budgets and schedules. Approve purchases and estimates, manages engineering design firms and integrated project team, integrates capital projects within turnaround cycle plans. Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization and aligns the business expectations about a project's objectives, scope, expectations and outcomes with the project team.
Responsible for Working closely with other Project Team members to help the Project Manager develop a Project Execution Plan and heavy involvement with the engineering contractor to support the engineering and procurement effort. Key duties include being actively involved at the engineering contractor office to answer specific engineering development questions, review of the EPC's work status and progress, follow up on and help resolve P&ID review, HAZOP, model review, vendor/fabricator design, etc. issues and questions that come up during the engineering design phases of a project. During the construction phase of the project, duties include resolving construction questions/issues related to the engineering design and participate in the MOC/PSSR effort to help complete the construction effort. Duties also include helping the Project Manager with the project close out efforts including assuring that the proper documentation is retained for the project.
Responsible for completion of RAM/FMCA or other reliability analysis’ for each strategic project, ensuring the reliability/MI programs address known failure modes and potential damage mechanisms by applying effective equipment PM and sparing strategies. Key duties include coordinating with base organization to ensure smooth handover of project deliverables, ensuring reliability objectives are incorporated into engineering deliverables (including sponsors objectives), managing the key risks within area of responsibility, leading, participating, or reviewing RCFA’s as required. Duties also include ensuring engineering practices are followed for final project documentation and deliverables.
