I have been in the Washington Army National Guard since 1993. I have held multiple different operations jobs culminating as the State Training and Operations Sergeant Major leading over 5,800 Soldiers and 5 Major Subordinate Commands.
I am the Operations Manager for the Washington Army National Guard which covers over 5,800 Soldiers. I am responsible for supporting the processing of Soldiers for State and Federal Mission requirements and other related operations related to personnel management. I am experienced in data processing, budget analysis, personnel management, policy writing and enforcement and general mentorship of employees under my supervision.
I was the Senior Enlisted Non-Commissioned Officer in charge of all recruiting operations for the State of Washington for service in the Washington Army National Guard. I lead 92 recruiters spread out across the state and had 45 support staff that assisted us in meeting our recruiting goals in 2019 as the Best Medium State in terms of recruiting statistics against 25 other states.
I was the Senior Enlisted Member of an Ordnance Battalion with four subordinate companies spread out across three states. We were responsible for conducting Explosive Ordnance Disposal of military and civilian munitions on and off military installations.
