I qualified as a Solicitor in July 2015 and joined Preston Redman in March 2019 having practiced at another local firm since qualification. I undertake a wide range of property work with a particular focus on commercial property and leasehold enfranchisement. My practice areas include: Advising on the sale, purchase and finance of Commercial and Development property Advising on leases of commercial property Advising on commercial financing arrangements Advising on corporate real estate transactions Residential sales and purchases Residential investments Residential lease extensions and collective enfranchisement
I carried out a wide range of commercial property work, from advising the owners of small businesses to dealing with large scale developments. I advised on the sale and purchase of a variety of businesses, commercial re-financing, the purchase of development plots, and the subsequent sale of new-build properties. I also dealt with more complex residential transactions. I also specialised in both commercial and residential Leasehold work, in particular statutory lease extensions and enfranchisement. I acted on the grant of new leases, and the assignment of exsiting leases, for both landlords and tenants. I also advised on both contentious and non-contentious lease extensions, and also regularly advised clients on how to combine a lease extension with their sale or purchase. I was appointed as a Director in November 2015.
