I am an analytical chemist with extensive experience in the lithium industry. I have experience in techniques including: ICP-OES, ion chromatography, particle size, UV-VIS, manual and automatic titrations, magnetic impurities, pH testing, potentiometry and colorimetry. I speak Japanese to a JLPT N3/N2 level and hold the N3 certification.
ICP-OES analysis
Quality testing of final products and products at their end of life.
Supervise and coordinate analytical operations within the quality control laboratory, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of testing for lithium compounds used in industrial applications. Responsible for line management and development of analytical chemists, overseeing daily workflows, and maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards. Support the Lab Manager in reporting, process improvement, and ensuring timely delivery of analytical data to support production and sales.
Quality control laboratory responsible for the analysis of lithium compounds to verify purity, water content, particle size, and pH against sales specifications. Analytical techniques include ICP-OES (Thermo Fisher), Ion Chromatography (Metrohm), particle size analysis using a Malvern Mastersizer, Karl Fischer titration for water determination, and automated titration systems (Metrohm).
Drying/packing of various lithium powders and solutions.
Working in a team of two with the manager to maintain flow of sold goods, returns, tracking and overall smooth running of the warehouse.
