Operations and strategy leader combining a Cambridge MBA with a seven year foundation in heavy civil, structural, and marine engineering. Having driven value engineering for $2B+ capital projects and managed global asset integrity, my focus is now on the operational strategy behind mega projects planning and energy infrastructure. My current work centers on the intersection of deep tech, scalable operations, and sustainable infrastructure, highlighted by recent AI market entry consulting and an upcoming summer role driving corporate sustainability.
• Directed global infrastructure reliability programs for 1,000+ critical crane assets, proactively identifying risks and presenting mitigation strategies to executive leadership to drive standardization across worldwide assets. • Led strategic infrastructure evaluations for competing LNG concepts, driving alignment among local utility companies, developers, and investors to address a 300MMSCFD energy deficit in a key South American market • Optimized capital expenditure (Capex) for mission-critical Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects valued up to $2B in the US, driving over $1M in direct project savings through expert value engineering and deployment efficiency. • Managed structural preventative maintenance (PM) and lifecycle management programs across a portfolio of 130+ facilities in Nigeria and Guyana, ensuring strict operational compliance and continuous infrastructure reliability.
• Co-directed internal and external compliance audits across US and Canadian marine terminal facilities, including third-party sites, enforcing strict Operations and Maintenance (O&M) standards to mitigate environmental, health, safety (EHS), and business downtime risks. • Drove $600k/yr in operational expenditure (Opex) savings through continuous process improvement, optimizing existing equipment parameters to maximize infrastructure efficiency without requiring additional capital upgrades.
• Directed mechanical, structural, and civil engineering support for continuous facility operations and capital deployment projects across mission-critical infrastructure at marine terminals and environmental assets. • Executed a $5M infrastructure remediation program $100k under budget, performing rigorous cost analysis and leveraging data to challenge vendor estimates and optimize third-party contractor performance.
Started university research program in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) applications for construction and testing procedures for 3D printed connections.
• Developed a sewer model for a chemical plant to prioritize inspection, maintenance and repair of the sewer system. • Developed a comparison matrix of first flush volume calculation methodologies.
Compiled and analyzed production engineering hours of different projects for future estimates. This provided a more detailed estimation by engineering discipline in early-stage projects.
• Applied Bridge Life Cycle Cost Analysis (BLCCA) for High Performance Concrete (HPC) and Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) to determine the most cost-effective design by looking at agency and user costs over the lifespan of the “I-25/Doña Ana Interchange Bridge” near Las Cruces, NM. • Mixed, casted, cured, and tested UHPC to find the strength gain throughout the specified curing regimen, as well as using thermocouples to measure the core temperature during the curing process.
• Inspected bridges throughout the state of New Mexico looking at superstructures made of concrete girders, prestressed concrete girders, concrete box girders, steel beams, steel thru-truss bridges, bridges made with wooden beams and wood substructure, fracture critical bridges, and culverts.
