Have overseen the transition of the project from an MVP to a successful, mature web app winning and maintaining business around the world in the security-conscious government, defence and education sectors. Now challenging the established market leaders Miro and Mural, despite being a tiny team in comparison. A recent message about me from one of my team… “I always loved working with you! You were always nice and took every question seriously. Even if it might have been quite simple. I really like that you gave an explanation and did not just say "Do it that way". I also learned a lot from you. I would say you are one of the nicest and most experienced people I ever worked with.”

  • Senior Software Engineer at Aireavu

Transformed software engineering practices and product quality for this government-backed people-counting AI-led tech startup based in Canary Wharf. Probably one of my favourite places to work ever. Pioneered real-time sensor-visualisation technology resulting in massive leaps forward in people-counting algorithm accuracy. Paved the way for machine learning algorithm development with improved data collection. Introduced professional software development standards (typing, error handling, code style, testing, logging) greatly reducing bugs and increasing velocity. Implemented remote access technology for sensors and IoT hubs allowing the business to expand internationally. Built a real-time monitoring dashboard and Pandas-powered API for distributed IoT architecture allowing customers to access and interrogate live occupancy metrics. Installed sensors for Transport for London, Chiltern Trains and Canary Wharf.
