Over 20 years of business experience primarily in public accounting and auditing followed by private consulting and industry. Managed both public listed and private clients on both integrated audits & non-audit engagements. As an entrepreneur searched out small business opportunities among personal network of family and friends including travel to Germany, UK, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore. Businesses explored include elevated shoe retail, real estate rental, food & beverage, funeral services and pet care services. Analyzed financial data and business processes where available for expansion viability and return on equity. Consulted on accounting & bookkeeping issues, external audit matters, as well as financial analysis and process controls.
As a senior manager, I have a greater role assisting the Partner in managing client relationships including day-to-day interaction, and presentation of strategic work recommendations. This in addition to the managing the overall engagement including timeline, quality and issues as they arise. Also have a greater role in leading the engagement team that consists of audit, accounting, IT, tax and finance professionals. During my 12+ years at EY, across 200+ audit engagements, demonstrated depth & breath of experience executing in varied industries from oil and gas upstream exploration & production, shipping, port & logistics services, education, hotel, construction, plantation, retail, manufacturing and outsourcing services. These engagements include quarterly reviews and SOX controls testing for public-listed audits, as well public and private clients reporting under US GAAP or IFRS.
