As NPI Projects Manager at Elbit Systems, I oversee serial production for display and sensor products, integrating mechanics, electronics, and optics. I ensure timely deliveries and collaborate effectively with international clients while managing a complex, multi-year transition that involves extensive matrix management and partnership with diverse stakeholders. I meticulously plan processes using a developed Gantt chart and handle annual NRE and RE budgets, working closely with development engineers and operations to optimize production, quality, and efficiency.
✧ Sole responsibility for NPI in a factory of 130 workers producing motion controls for the semiconductor industry. ✧ Progressing products from development to the production stage. ✧ Successfully driving multiple projects to meet management requirements and delivery schedules. ✧ Presenting regular Product Review Releases (PRR) in English to the entire company, including staff and senior management based abroad. ✧ Collaborating with and motivating multi-disciplinary stakeholders – Production, Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, Engineering Operations, Simulations, suppliers and external contractors. ✧ Identifying weak points and finding solutions to ensure the highest manufacturing standards. ✧ Training production line staff. ✧ Preparing NPI checklists for DFX - Design for Testability, Design for Manufacturability, Design for Mechanics, and other processes. ✧ Improving processes and optimizing manufacturing workflow. ✧ Sourcing best prices and producers to meet cost reduction targets.
✧ Led a team of 6 integrators developing and testing E2E reception and transmission test systems for telemetry projects in Israel and abroad. ✧ Travelled to the US to represent Rafael in the field of telemetry. ✧ Operated test equipment: Spectrum Analyzer, Scope Network Analyzer, SG. ✧ Laboratory testing and compiling of ATP, FTP & POD documents. ✧ Planning, drawing, and creating test harnesses for production.
