Whether through coaching youth leaders or sharing insights with fellow professionals, I am dedicated to paying it forward and nurturing the next generation of changemakers. Driven by a desire to empower youth and catalyze change at the grassroots level, I founded Youth4Change, an organisation dedicated to harnessing the potential of young people to drive community development. Through innovative approaches and the spirit of collaboration, we have successfully initiated and completed sustainable projects that address pressing challenges, from healthcare to education and beyond. I have had the privilege of leading impactful projects and organisations aimed at transforming communities and empowering youth to become change agents. I have provided vital technical support to youth forums and village groups, ensuring their understanding of the requirements for accessing grant funds. I have worked closely with local stakeholders and consortium partners, ensuring the effective implementation of projects while adhering to contractual requirements. I have spearheaded initiatives focused on improving community health through WASH interventions. From developing and implementing programs to conducting baseline surveys and assessments, I was deeply involved in every aspect of project management. This hands-on experience allowed me to witness firsthand the transformative impact of clean water and sanitation on communities' well-being. I continue to leverage my expertise to mobilize communities, build capacity, and oversee the implementation of field activities. From liaising with beneficiaries to supervising construction work, every day presents an opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives. • Community mobilisation and assistance in capacity building activities with community members and elders are being carried out. • Liaising with communities and beneficiaries as needed and conducting daily implementations of field activities. • Conducting beneficiary identification, selection, training, development activities and sensitisation as needed or requested. • Supervising WASH construction work to ensure adherence to all standards stipulated in the construction and installation plans.
• Development and implementation of programs focused on improved community health through water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) Technology upgrade and education. • All community wash programs were established in all schools within the counties, school wash programs were implemented, community and school baseline surveys assessments were conducted, and program implementations and follow-ups were carried out.
• Addressed complex technical issues within the Tikosystem, conducted root cause analysis and implemented effective solutions. Assessed risk areas such as cybersecurity threats and compliance issues, developed strategies to mitigate potential risks. • Collaborated with the Tikosystem lead and manager to identify opportunities for optimising operational costs. This involved streamlining processes, implementing automation, or adopting cost-effective technologies to improve efficiency without compromising quality. Continuously analysed system performance to identify areas for efficiency improvement, optimising resource utilisation and reducing downtime. • Acted as a bridge between different stakeholders, including technical teams, management and external partners. Facilitated effective communication, coordinated efforts, fostered collaboration to achieve common goals and drive continuous improvement. • Stayed updated with the latest trends and technologies relevant to the Tikosystem ecosystem. Evaluated potential opportunities for adopting new tools or methodologies that could enhance performance, security and scalability. Maintained accurate documentation of technical processes, solutions, and changes within the ecosystem and generated regular reports to track key metrics and progress towards operational goals
1. Supervision and Coordination: Provided supervision and oversight to County Reproductive Health Coordinators, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Coordinated program activities among consortium partners and within the county, facilitating communication and collaboration. Linked private healthcare providers with suppliers, facilitating supply orders for reproductive health services. 2. Capacity Building and Training: Developed strategies for family planning uptake in health facilities through community participation. Trained healthcare workers on contraceptive technology use, HIV/AIDS prevention, and other relevant topics. Facilitated and conducted trainings for county and sub-county heads, healthcare workers, and KMTC students and lecturers. 3. Support and Mentorship: Provided continuous mentorship to health facility staff and County Health Management Teams on family planning. Strengthened provision of integrated reproductive health services to vulnerable groups, including women and children. Mentored and provided supportive supervision to facilitators and staff in supported health facilities for specific programs, such as Futures/ESHE. 4. Technical Support and Review: Participated in technical review meetings, advising local organizations on institutional systems strengthening. Ensured effective implementation of program activities, enforcing contractual requirements and providing operational support.
