Strategic Sourcing Lead focused on GNFR in a retail company across the entire Central America region. Managing a total spend in scope of +250 Million USD across 11 different categories with an addressable spend identified in scope of +72 Million USD and potential saving opportunities identified of + 6 Million USD Led the transition of the F&A processes within different Global Financing Service Centers for different clients in the medical industry; defining the strategy to migrate the processes, documenting processes in the current state, identifying process improvement opportunities and leading the knowledge capture & transfer sessions between sending and receiving site. Handled the tax payments of a payroll for a US client with more than 23 thousand employees Led the initiative to implement a tool to reduce the daily payment to agencies improving the processing time from 8 to 3 hours approximately, increasing the accuracy of payments from less than 80% to over 99%, avoiding the usual payment of penalties to agencies. Overview the day-to-day operation in the Taxes department in order to ensure completion of KPIs and SLAs. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and obligations, filing tax forms with federal, state and municipal agencies Provide advice and support to management in the decision-making, including management methods and organization of the payroll team. Supervise and organize the workload distribution in the day-to-day operation. Be the focal point of communication with the client, representatives and with other IBM teams, both internally as US teams. Keep documentation updated for regular procedures, including controls and audit requirements. Lead Year End and Quarterly closing payroll periods for taxes reconciliation.
