Most companies don’t fail at innovation because they lack ideas. They fail because they mistake demos, hype, and polished prototypes for deployable systems. For nearly three decades, I’ve helped enterprises bridge the gap between emerging technology ambition and operational reality. My work sits at the intersection of hardware, software, AI, connectivity, and enterprise transformation — translating experimental technologies into systems that actually scale. I focus on the hard part most organizations underestimate: integrating new technology into the messy realities of security, operations, governance, infrastructure, and human behavior. Over the course of my career, I’ve led thousands of hours of emerging technology research and development, overseen more than 300 innovation initiatives, and helped global organizations evaluate, prototype, and deploy solutions across immersive learning, connected worker, IoT, AI, collaboration, defense simulation, and 3D commerce. I was also a co-author of PwC’s widely cited enterprise VR study, “The Effectiveness of Virtual Reality Soft Skills Training in the Enterprise,” which became one of the defining research publications during the enterprise XR adoption wave. Earlier in my career, I served as lead software architect behind the original Gogo Inflight Internet platform and contributed to large-scale connectivity and financial technology systems long before “digital transformation” became a boardroom cliché. I’m interested in connecting with organizations looking for pragmatic leadership in emerging technology, applied AI, spatial computing, enterprise architecture, innovation strategy, or CTO-level technical direction. Especially teams trying to separate what is merely impressive in a demo from what can survive production at enterprise scale.

Managing Director for PwC’s Emerging Technology group, a client and internally facing R&D Applied Research Lab focused on how disruptive technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, 3DP, Blockchain, Robotics, RPA/IPA, XR (AR/VR/MR)) and the ever changing world of emerging technologies impact an organization's ability to deliver world class customer experiences. The Emtech team was responsible for emerging technology related execution services and co-creation activities for PwC's clients across the U.S., China, Japan, and Mexico. Rebuilt the team and focused efforts on Applied Research achieving delivery of more than 160 projects annually, secured several patents, and had a direct impact on more than $260M in services revenue. Individually responsible as a Global SME for edge device technology, enterprise mobility, mobile payments, context aware computing and Extended Reality (XR). During this period, launched PwC's VR team and led all aspects of deploying VR training at Enterprise Scale for the US Firm and their clients.

Led a team of business analysts, architects, software developers, creatives, and engineers to create mobile applications and services that could be used as building blocks. Responsible for the overall service architecture design needed to deliver Internet Access on Commercial Aircraft - including strategic IT Roadmap, portfolio management, and all integration technologies. Lead IT representative to the business to insure functions are inline with technical capabilities and designs can be met in a timely and cost effective manner.
