Managed Service Delivery/ Operations and Projects for Networks (Voice and Data) & Security tracks - Managed Team size of 12 SMEs. 3. Planned and developed DR/BCP and Infosec Program from HCL to Customer as part of IT Outsourcing Delivery, as Information Security Officer and Business Continuity Manager, virtually managing and working with 250+ HCL Resources in the engagement for InfoSec and DR Tests. 4. Managed end to end planning, delivery, testing and maintenance of DR and Business Continuity Program for 3 years, and conducted 6 rigorous DR/BC Tests for DC Infrastructure and Workplace over 5-10 days, and 3 Annual Business Continuity Tests for Offshore Delivery Centres successfully. Worked for various organizations in India in the role of Trainee Engineer, Engineer, Project Manager in the field of Satellite Communication and Networking. 1. Started my career in ISRO on 1st Feb 1999. Got Trained and worked on Satellite Communication, Satellite Control Earth Stations and Monitoring in INSAT Master Control Facility of ISRO, Department of Space, Hassan. 2. Joined GNFC - IT Division as Engineer (Communication) in June 2000. I was privileged to be part of Implementation Team in setting up of Gujarat's first International ISP Gateway and VSAT Gateway Hub Station. After implementation, managed the Hub operations for an year. During this time, I have provided 24x7 Communication Support to Gujarat Earthquake Relief operations, wherein we setup VSAT Mobile Terminals in Earthquake affected areas, and through VSAT Hub and PBX Linkage, enabled free voice calls to all the people in those areas for a month. For this effort, I have received the award and memento from VP of NSI Communications Inc. 3. In Feb 2002, I have shifted my job to GNFC's VSAT/ Internet Gateway partner firm NSI Communications [later renamed to Infinum (India) Limited] , Bangalore as Manager (Projects). I have Implemented and supported 40+ VSAT stations for various Government/ ISRO initiatives across India. This includes ISRO's Spacenet Program, National Telemedicine Network linking all the major hospitals and research institutions in India with Rural and Govt Hospitals (Apollo, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Sankara Nethralaya, JIPMER, Amrita, Sri Ramachandra Medical College Hospital) in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, North East India, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Telemedicine Network for Indian Army linking Army R&R Hospitals with remote hospitals/ medical camps in Army sites in Jammu and Kashmir, VSAT Network for Indian Institute of Astrophysics, EduSat network, etc.
