Manage all munitions loading and armament systems maintenance. Coordinate priorities, ensure safety regulations are met, supervise and provide technical guidance to individuals for system fault isolation, troubleshooting, and maintenance actions as needed. Track and document maintenance and munitions loading, as well as manage personnel on shift, and manage weapons personnel.
Worked as a Weapons Loader for 6 years on the F-15 C/D/E, and the A-10 aircraft. I trained others in my field for 4 years. I received 2 achievement medals, maintenance professional of the quarter in 2012, and Airman of the quarter in 2010. I separated, honorably, and transferred to the ANG unit in Selfridge, MI.
Started out as a handler. Then after 3 years, I was promoted to a Dangerous Goods Specialist. I helped control and regulate dangerous goods that were shipped through our location at Bishop Airport in Flint. I was also in charge of the De-Icing operation on the ramp for the aircraft prior to launch in the winter time.
