I'll be the first in this new role at our site. Group lead of approximately 16 QATs. Collins has been an incredible company to work for. The people are amazing, and even though it's a huge company, the culture and atmosphere is flexible and highly collaborative.
Primary role has been completing FAIRs (first article inspection reports) from start to finish to the aerospace AS9102 standard. I actively work with quality, manufacturing, and design engineers to understand complicated engineering drawing requirements and dimensions. I have been unofficially leading an FAI team, helping to train and develop other's metrology, print reading, and FAI requirement skills. We work on products from many different product lines. I have completed over 120 hours of PC-DMIS CMM programming (level 1&2) and advanced GD&T training. Certified AS9100 internal auditor. I am loving the challenging work, amazing people, and endless opportunities that Collins provides.
